GDPR - The Right To Be Forgotten Webinar

How to automate GDPR The Right To Be Forgotten and Subject Access Request Webinar

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new law that will replace the Data Protection Act 1998 and will apply in the UK from 25 May 2018.

If your organisation deals with the personally identifiable information of EU citizens, you will come under the law’s remit—regardless of where your business is based.

Newton IT and our partner TermSet are hosting a FREE 30-minute webinar on Wednesday 7th February at 10.00am to demonstrate the ScanR product and provide a free trial to all those who register and attend the webinar.

The New GDPR regulation is only five months away, most organisations are still not prepared, but do not worry help is at hand. Newton IT has partnered with TermSet to help organisations become GDPR ready. TermSet discovers GDPR Sensitive and Personal Identifiable Information within all types of structured and unstructured documents.

The Challenge

  • GDPR will require all organisations that trade within Europe to focus on identifying and retrieving personal data of employees, customers such as names, addresses or financial data.
  • The new “Right to be Forgotten/Removed” rule will allow employees, customers to request that you identify and retrieve all the digital information you hold on them and then remove it entirely from your systems.
  • The “Subject Access Request” response time will decrease from 40 days down to 30 days.

The Solution

  • ScanR is a groundbreaking software product that discovers GDPR Sensitive and Personal Identifiable Information within all types of structured and unstructured documents within File Shares, Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.
  • Automate the process and quickly respond to “Right to be forgotten” or “Subject Access Request”.
  • A comprehensive 100 plus keywords rules engine that can understand all global languages.
  • Includes Artificial Intelligence with Pattern Matching to ensure keyword accuracy.
  • Converts all photocopies, scanned documents into OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to identify all sensitive keywords.
